2011 ANNUAL SUBS & MATCH FEES:

It was announced at the AGM that the club is to restructure both the Annual Subscriptions and Match Fees for the 2011 Season.

As you will be aware these sources of income are vital to the clubs survival and as always your prompt payment is appreciated. Annual Subs for 2011 will see for the first time the introduction of the HWRCC 200 Club. The 200 Club is a great initiative that was introduced by WICK legend John Tilley as source of alternative income into the cricket club as well as providing members with the opportunity to win healthy cash sums. Monthly and Quarterly draws are made where members can win £50 or even £500 if there number is drawn. Monica French was the lucky winner of £500 drawn at the Annual Dinner on Saturday.

Below are the revised costs to the annual subscriptions and the membership benefits involved.

2011 Annual Subscription;

Standing Order; £84.00 (12 x £7.00 - Monthly Payments)

(Please be aware that any payments received after the 1st May 2011 will result in a £10 increase in the amount due and members will qualify for the 200 club draw the month immediately after their annual membership or 1st standing order is paid.)

2011 Match Fees;

As the WICK continues to strive to improve life for its members, the committee have worked exceptionally hard to recruit league umpires for both the 1st & 2nd XI Saturday league teams. Having umpires in league games really adds to the day but as with everything thing, this little luxury comes with a price. Therefore the decision was made at the AGM to increase Match Day Fees for games that involve these umpires. The committee would also like to note that this is the 1st increase to match fees in over 15 years and as a club we still remain one of the cheapest for Annual Subs and Match Fees in the area.

Below are the revised Match Fees for the 2011 season.

Adult Match Fees;

1st & 2nd XI - £10.00

1st & 2nd XI (with an umpire) £12.00

3rd XI - £10.00

Student;

1st & 2nd XI - £5.00

1st & 2nd XI (with an umpire) £7.00

3rd XI - £5.00

Inclement Weather

If members are in any doubt because of bad weather as to whether theirgamewill be played or not, it is THEIR duty to telephone their TEAMCAPTAIN.
Note: No member will be notified individually.

Selection procedure

The selection Committee will meet weekly throughout the seasonAT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE - ALL PLAYING MEMEBERS MUSTINDICATE THEIR AVAILABILITY for the forthcoming matchesby
notifying the Captain of their XI.

Selected teams will be advised by e mail if, AFTERthe teams have been selected a player finds that his availabilityposition has changed HE MUST INFORM THE TEAM SECRETARYOR HIS CAPTAIN IMMEDIATELY.

PLEASE KEEP "CRY OFFS" TO AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM,otherwise you will be letting down your team, your club And youropponents.

Members are requested to be on the ground changed and readyfor play atleast 45 minutes prior to the arranged start time of thematch in whichthey have been selected to play.
