Venue Hire FAQ
WELCOME TO THE WICK!!
Thank you for choosing to hire the WICK for your celebration. Please
find below a list of FAQ's to help you get the most out of our
wonderful venue.
Q. How much does the club cost to hire?
A. It cost's just £250.00 to hire the WICK for your event.
Q. What is included in the hire?
A. The hire cost includes bar staff and use of the venue from 19:00 -
01:00.
Q. Does the club provide catering?
A. Yes. The club can provide catering. Please email keithjnicholls@tiscali.co.uk
with your requirements.
Q. Does the club have a music license?
A. Yes. The Club has a live music license. The WICK has a resident DJ
& Band that can be hire for your event. Please email
geniussound@yahoo.co.uk for more information.
Q. Can I use the club stereo and speakers?
A. If you wish to just use an iPod then you can use the club stereo and
speakers. When you hire a band or DJ the club stereo and speakers are
NOT available to be used as they are inadequate for loud party music.
Damages to the clubs music equipment will be chargeable.
Q. What is the clubs capacity?
A. The clubs capacity is 100 people. As well as our magnificent bar we
have a large downstairs area, ideal for serving food or reception
drinks as well as lots of outside space that can be utilized during the
summer.
Q. Does the club have a Car Park?
A. Yes. There is ample parking for your event. Cars maybe left in the
car park over night (at the owner's risk) as long as they are collected
by 10.am the morning after your event.
Q. What are the bar prices and can you BYO
A. As an indication of prices a pint of Beer is £3 and a Glass of Wine
is £3.50. We allow sparkling wine/champagne to be brought in by the
hiring party at a rate of £3.50 per bottle opened. Other drinks should
be purchase from the bar.
Q. Can I access the club during the day of my party?
A. Yes. Arrangements can be made to allow access to the club during the
day of your party. Please email keithjnicholls@tiscali.co.uk to arrange a time in
the afternoon when the club can be opened. Please provide the club with
at least 2 weeks' notice of the time and day that you require.
Q. Can I decorate the club?
A. Yes. The club is yours to decorate as you wish as long as no damage
is caused to club memorabilia that must remain in place. Decorations
must be taken down at the end of your party and no personal belongings
can be left in the club overnight.
